Three For All Farm believes in a minimal waste way of farming, and part of what makes this possible are the amazing benefits of composting. We could go on forever about the benefits, but one big advantage is keeping waste out of landfills, an ever growing problem in the United States and around the world. When food scraps and other compostable products end up in a landfill, they are devoid of oxygen and begin to produce methane gasses which are playing a major part of our deteriorating environment.

Composting is part of the natural growing (and inevitably, dying) process of all life around us, be it branches falling to the forest floor or leaves settling under trees. If these materials are not properly composted, the carbon which we have the opportunity to sequester into our soils will oxidize and become a part of our atmosphere and oceans in the form of carbon dioxide. By properly treating these products and using compost to grow our food, we are able to offer you a tasty, nutritious, and responsible product!

Here at Three For All Farm, we take composting very seriously and would love your help! We offer free 5 gallon buckets (or any kind of container that makes sense for your establishment or situation) for people to bring into their space, and toss their food scraps into (no meat or dairy please!)
